Brandy Dotson had a baby girl on Sunday, March 7 at UAB West. The baby was born five weeks early and she weighed 4 pounds and 2 ounces. Brandy is in Room 418 at UAB West. She had a good night Tuesday night and got plenty of rest. She has been up walking around and some of the swelling is starting to go down. Brandy is still dangerously ill with high blood pressure and does not need any visitors. NO VISITORS! She will probably stay in the hospital until Friday. The baby girl continues to gain strength daily at BMC-Princeton NICU, and she needs our continued prayers. Please pray for Brandy that the medication that the doctors give her will bring her high blood pressure down.
Paula Raines, Roger's wife, had a massive stroke last night and is in critical condition at Druid City Medical Center in Tuscaloosa. Paula is In ICU Room 310. She also has kidney failure. Please pray for Roger and Paula and their family.
Wilna Trigg passed away Wednesday, March 3 at her daughter Becky's home. Sister Trigg's funeral service was in Jasper on Friday, March 5. Please pray for the family. Becky Trigg's address is 616 10th Court, South, Birmingham, AL 35205.
Misty Stringfellow's friend and co-worker, Pam McMickens, lost her husband Les. He had a heart attack onThursday, March 4. Pam has a son Colton who is a senior in hich school. Please pray that Pam and Colton find peace during this time.
Linda Grayson, a former co-worker of Lottie Smith, found out recently that she is in need of a liver transplant. Her address is 220 Closhire Drive, Birmingham, AL 35214. All prayers and cards would be appreciated.
Pam Winfield is refusing to take her medicines and is currently in Trinity Medical Center where she will continue for another two weeks of treatments. Pam and her sister Cheryl Bell need our prayers.
Janice James had successful cataract surgery at the Eye Foundation Hospital on Tuesday, March 2. She had a good follow-up visit with her eye doctor on Wednesday, March 3.
Charles Main had successful shoulder surgery at St. Vincent's Hospital on Tuesday, March 2. He started physical therapy on Wednesday, March 3.
Meredith Wood had complete reconstructive nose surgery at BMC - Princeton on Monday, March 1. At her doctor's visit on Thursday, March 4, the doctor took the inside splints out of her nose but kept the outside splints on. Meredith will visit the doctor again on Thursday, March 11.
Norma Armstrong is now back at home and is regaining her strength after her surgery.
Jack and Jean Baughn's struggles continue on a day to day basis.
Rose and Luther Brown have had a much better week. Luther went back to the doctor on Monday, March 8.
Denise Casey was fitted with a walking shoe on Monday, March 8 as the healing of her foot is almost complete. Denise was able to be at the worship service on Sunday, March 7.
Lee Dunn is some better this week.
Beulah Henslee fell at home this week. She is badly bruised but does not think that she broke any bones. Janice Bradley will take sister Henslee to the doctor on Thursday, March 11.
Thelma Mitchell has had a better week. She was able to be at the worship service on Sunday, March 7.
Jack and Laura Jean Phillips continue to struggle on a day to day basis.
Glenn Spruiell's health issues continue. He and Aileen need our prayers.
Elmus Ward continues to suffer with his back and leg problems. Magdalene Ward fell last week and her shoulder and leg are badly bruised and her ribs are very sore.
J. C. Williams has been at the worship services the past two Sunday mornings and Sunday nights. It is so good that he has been able to get out again.
Phil Robertson's grandmother, Helen Robertson, is critically ill in Longview, Texas. Phil drove to Texas on Wednesday, March 10 to see his grandmother. Please pray for sister Robertson and for Phil to have a safe trip home from Texas.
Jan Dyle's mother, Odessa Wyatt, fell on Sunday, March 7 and fractured her pelvis on the other side from where she had fractured it a month ago. Mrs. Wyatt is in St. Vincent's Hospital, South Tower, Room S-515. Her phone number is 212-6515. She also has pneumonia. The doctor plans to send sister Wyatt to Lakeshore Rehabilitation Center on Thursday, March 11.
Yvonne Elmore's father, Sammy Moore, is back at the nursing home in Fayette. He is still in serious condition.
Sam Dabbs' sister Charla Milner and her husband Josh were baptized Friday, February 26. We rejoice with Sam and Melanie over the baptism of Sam's sister and brother-in-law.

Please continue to remember PHYLLIS L. WRIGHT who made confession of wrong on Wednesday night, February 24. She met with the elders Wednesday night, March 3 and expressed a desire to place membership with the congregation. Phyllis and her husband Greg live at 2085 Cherry Avenue, Hueytown, AL 35023. Several of our members know her husband Greg who is from the Oak Grove community and is currently serving in the Merchant Marine. Jeff Bynum, a co-worker of Tommy Galloway, has suffered two strokes in the last two weeks. The second stroke caused some nerve damage. Jeff is 43 years old. Please keep him and his family in your prayers.

Joy Northcutt, the wife of Coach Clarence Northcutt, has been diagnosed with ovarian cancer. She had surgery on Monday, Nov. 16. Her chemo treatments should begin soon. Many in the congregation know this family and Joy's family called and asked that we include her in our prayers.

Pray for the Robertson family as they make plans to move to Gainesville, Florida sometime in 2010 to work with the Glenn Springs congregation and the opportunities presented by the college students at the University of Florida. Continue to pray for our efforts to find the best man for the work at Hueytown. Take advantage of the time to study with Phil if you had planned or intended to do so.
