Velma Whitehead's son, Jimmy, was killed in a car accident on Wednesday, while on his way home from work. Jimmy's son, Lance attends church at Black Creek. Please pray for these families as they deal with this tragedy. Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 7 @ Gardendale Chapel, Ridouts Brown Service, Dignity Memorial, 2029 Decatur Hwy., Gardendale Al. Funeral will be Saturday at 10AM.
Rubye Johnson is very weak, and the hospice nurse told Ginger today, that Aunt Rubye's time is very short-- a few hours or a few days. Please remember Ginger and the whole family, during this very difficult time.

April Swiney had one day surgery on Wednesday.
Jesse and Gracin Kelly have strep throat and Jesse also has a staph infection.
Sue Farr has returned home and has felt better these last few days. She will see a neurologists next week. No calls or visits, prayers and cards are much appreciated.
David Sullivan will see his doctor on Thursday about everything except his back.
Jewel Henson is feeling better, she is dealing with pulmonary hypertension which is still a serious problem.
Cheryl Erwin has not had a good week and was unable to be out on Sunday.
Luther Brown had a few weak spells on Sunday and had to leave services early. He had another rough day on Monday. Luther did not get a good report from the doctor on Tuesday. There is a series of issues that contribute to his loss of strength and passing out. Please remember Rose and Luther in your prayers.
Jeanne Weaver, Claudia's mother. She will have gall bladder surgery on Friday.
Amy Dixon is scheduled for a c-section on Monday. Please pray for the delivery of a healthy baby boy and Amy's recovery from this surgery.

B.W. Glaze has been diagnosed with Stage 3 pancreatic cancer.BW will not take chemo. Please remember the Glaze family.

Darlene Jones is still having issues with her back and blood clots in her legs. Darlene had to leave services early on Sunday. Darlene will see her Dr. on Monday.Prayers please as she continues to suffer. Darlene also ask that we remember a friend of her's, Sonya Rizzo, whose cancer is spreading.

Kynslie Barnett is a 9year old from our area who has a severe problem with the veins in her leg and has to travel to Colorado for treatment. The procedure is very painful. Please pray for this young girl and her family as they face this with her. Her address is 1594 Riverburch Dr. Hueytown,35023
Amy Johnston's neighbor, Jennie Autry, has requested prayer from the congregation. She is basically homebound and has been dealing with an infection in one of her knees for a long time. They are considering removing the knee cap.

Lottie's friend and co-worker, Linda Grayson, is recovering nicely from a liver transplant. Her daughter really appreciates all the prayers.
Continued prayers for Brother Dave Bradford. Hospice has been set up to assist the family at this time. Dave and Betty have been staying at their daughter's home, in Auburn.
Dave was taken to Hospice's Bethany House on Thursday (July 22) so they can try to control his intense pain. He is heavily sedated and resting better. Please pray that his suffering will soon be over.Please remember Dave, and especially Betty and the whole family.

The Grigsby hearing did not go as well as was hoped. Britney will be living with her father, Jessica will remain with her mother. Please pray for these young lives and their families who love them so much.
Continue to pray for Thelma Mitchell. She is has tremendous breathing problems and the insurance company has denied coverage for the oxygen that she needs.
Please keep Sam Dabb's sister and brother-in-law in our prayers. They recently obeyed the gospel but are having some major struggles.
Cards of encouragement to Sam's brother, Bobby Lockhart, would be appreciated. He is now living on his own and working 6 days a week. He needs to know that we miss him at services. Pray for the Robertson family as they make plans to move to Gainesville, Florida. Their last day with us will be August 15th.
